We went geocaching yesterday and found a treasure !!!! It was sooooo cool, and now we can't wait to do it again. We also walked along the shoreline of Lake Michigan, and picked up some very interesting rocks. Bob and Nina took us out to eat at the restaurant at our resort last night. This morning the girls - Nina has nicknamed them the Williams sisters since they play tennis together- and Nina played tennis while Paul and I packed up the car. We drove 5 hours to....the Mall of American in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We spent a few hours - and a few dollars there. I HATE shopping, but it was the thing to do since we were driving right past it anyway.
We are leaving tomorrow for Wendi and Jeff's - Paul's niece and her husband. They live in Fargo, North Dakota.

The sun is shining and the temperature is above 60 degrees. It is a great day !!! This morning we toured an alpaca farm- very interesting and they are so cute. This afternoon, Bob and Nina and I toured a winery complete with wine tasting. Very interesting too. Now we are going to enjoy the outdoors with some tennis (ball hitting and chasing) and some miniature golf.

We made it to Mishicot, Wisconsin. Only took us 8 hours, and we were in our time-share resort. Nice !!! Bob and Nina drove up from Chicago - only a 4 hour drive for them, and they are staying with us. Nina made vinaigrette for us - that's Russian beet salad.
Today, Wednesday, it rained all day and was 47 degrees. So much for all the shorts we packed. Hope everyone likes the one pair of jeans and one Marion Local sweatshirt we each packed. We toured a wonderful museum and a submarine. A very interesting day ending with marinated pork chops from Winners and fresh asparagus from the farmer's market here in Mishicot. Gotta go watch 2 days of Young and Restless.

This is my first attempt at blogging. I feel so adventurous !!! I'd like for us to keep a diary of sorts during our trip to Mt. Rushmore. And, with our new mini laptop, we may just be able to do that.
